What We Do

Four Programs, One Mission

We implement education, vocational training, shelter, and caregiver development programs across Sylhet, North Bengal, Rajshahi, and Chittagong — reaching the most marginalized indigenous communities in Bangladesh.

Our Programs

What We Do

Normisjon Bangladesh implements four programs across Sylhet, North Bengal, Rajshahi, and Chittagong — each targeting marginalized indigenous communities through education, vocational training, shelter, and caregiver development.

HRDP

Human Resource Development Program

Skill development and education in Sylhet.

DLP

Development & Leadership Program

Self-reliant communities in North Bengal.

LGHP

Lutheran Girls' Hostel Program

Safe housing for Santal girl students.

HCDP

Healthy Childhood Development Program

Children grow-up in a safe and caring environment

HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

Education & Leadership for Indigenous Youth

Operating primarily in the tea garden regions of Sylhet, HRDP focuses on empowering the Santal and Khasi communities. By providing access to high-quality education and cultivating local leadership, we ensure that the next generation has the tools to break cycles of marginalisation.

General Education

Leadership Training

DEVELOPMENT & LEADERSHIP

Building Self-Reliant Communities in North Bengal

In the North Bengal region, DLP works with marginalized Adivasi families to secure their rights and build economic resilience. We focus on holistic development that combines cultural preservation with modern vocational training and climate change adaptation.

Empowerment

Sustainability

LUTHERAN GIRLS' HOSTEL

A Safe Home for Girls Pursuing Their Dreams

The LGHP hostels provide a secure and nurturing environment for Santal girls from remote villages. By offering safe housing and academic support, we enable these young women to continue their education in government schools and colleges, bridging the gap between their dreams and the distance to the classroom.

Safe Housing

Academic Support

Healthy Childhood Development Program

Children grow-up in a safe and caring environment

HCDP trains Facilitators of partners Ogr. So that they could train Caregivers across Bangladesh using the internationally recognised ICDP methodology. By strengthening the bond between caregivers and children, we give the next generation the best possible start in life.
